Interested in Pathfinder/XTerra Icons????

Postby Mr Mayor » Sat Apr 26, 2008 9:14 am

Hey gang. I'm a graphics junkie for my site and any other forum I join.... so..
I take color requests too.... I also have a Nissan logo somewhere and a few other misc items, like ATV's, vtwins, dirt bikes , all sorts of Image ..

(Be patient on my reply, taking off for weekend in 15 minutes literally!)
Also, hopefully by saving this next screenshot in BMP it won't look "too bad"

Anyone interested?

Haha, tough crowd over here I guess, 8)

I'll get one similar to the NewPathCHARC.ico if you have time to get rid of the roof rack and change the windscreen to light grey as well. Where do you have these hosted and is it OK to copy them over to another hosting site and use it as avatar or other. Thanks.

Ok, I'll tinker on that tonite. As for avatars... unsure. They are .ICO files and I am unsure if I can export them to other formats. and quite frankly, they are quite small, the largest is 48 x 48, and maybe 72 x 72....

Host 'em anywhere.... Just a thanku will suffice! :)

You can open them in MS Paint, then save them as a .gif, .jpg, etc.

Yes and no. Transparency is lost, and the icon app I use does a better job of blending I think.

Once I save as .gif, then add transparency thru another app, well, the quality looks like ass by then, but I'll try......the icon, not the ass thanku.

Oh, right, transparency. It's only been about 15 years since I last worked with icons, but you may also want to download Irfanview(freeware) to convert them. It should support transparent gifs. I'm pretty sure I've seen programs out there that deal specifically with 32 bit Icons, and I know a ton have to exist to deal with all the leftover 16 bit stuff as well.
