You can open them in MS Paint, then save them as a .gif, .jpg, etc.Marginjoey wrote:Ok, I'll tinker on that tonite. As for avatars... unsure. They are .ICO files and I am unsure if I can export them to other formats. and quite frankly, they are quite small, the largest is 48 x 48, and maybe 72 x 72....
Yes and no. Transparency is lost, and the icon app I use does a better job of blending I think.NVSteve wrote: You can open them in MS Paint, then save them as a .gif, .jpg, etc.
Oh, right, transparency. It's only been about 15 years since I last worked with icons, but you may also want to download Irfanview(freeware) to convert them. It should support transparent gifs. I'm pretty sure I've seen programs out there that deal specifically with 32 bit Icons, and I know a ton have to exist to deal with all the leftover 16 bit stuff as well.Marginjoey wrote:Yes and no. Once I save as .gif, then add transparency thru another app, well, the quality looks like ass by then, but I'll try......the icon, not the ass thanku.
