I wanted to see if anyone has removed the rear nissan badge from their car. and if they have is it just like the pathfinder letters or will there be holes.

Can't imagine why anyone would want to do this. Thought that high school ricer kids did this to their Hondas...

It's been done on everything from hondas to ferraris. Badge deletion is even a factory option on some cars. Plus I want to do it to get rid of that fake chrome.

An option many of us have taken is to plasti-dip the chrome badges and grill. It is a cheap easy way to get rid of the chrome look without having to remove parts. There are a couple of threads that go through the process.

Just recently purchased a couple badges mine didn't come with to plastic dip. I agree, not into the chrome look, so planning on dipping all the chrome.

To answer your question, no, these aren't old school where the badge had a hole for mounting. It's just tape, probably 3M foam type. All you need to do is work with it, then peal the tape off. Windex typically works well to get it spic and span.

The only badges I removed were the ones put there by dealerships, no thank you, I'm not advertising for them.

The badge is simple enough to remove. A lot of the Kia Optima owners are debadging their cars in order to put the new Kia "K" logo on, which makes it really look like a Lexus. There's a good video on YouTube about it. Basically use some fishing string between the car and the emblem and a whole lot of elbow grease.
