Trailer Hitch / AirLift Question

Postby SilverGhost » Thu Apr 17, 2008 2:07 pm

Their are two threaded holes in the bottom surface of my trailer hitch, very close to the trailer wiring connector. Does anyone know what these are used for or what size / thread-pitch bolts they take? I'm thinking this would be a good spot to put an L-bracket to which I could mount an inflation valve for the airlift kit I still intend to buy.

They are for the 7 pin connector setup. I used one these holes and an L bracket for my Airlift valve. I don't know the size/pitch. I just raided my bucket of bolts for one that would fit. Oddly enough, I think the bolt I found came from my old 1980 Datsun KingCab.

Yeah, I raided my stash of bolts and screws also. I came up with the right size (prolly 10/32, or metric equivalent) but the thread pitch was wrong.

Most likely they are 6x1.00.
