Transmission fluid change

Hey everyone,
I'm going to change my transmission and transfer fluid tomorrow and am wondering if I have to change the transmission filter. I have been looking through my owners manual and the online service manuals on this site and I can't find any mention at all of the transmission filter. I went out and bought one today, but I'm thinking now I may not replace it if I dont have to. It cost about 50$ and would make the job a fair bit bigger. Does anyone know If I should be changing this? The Pathfinder has about 155000 kms.

disregard...called the dealer. They DO NOT recommend changing the filter at all.
