My 2008 Pathfinder S, Thanks for the help!

Postby Brian's Pathy » Sat Mar 08, 2014 1:56 pm

I bought my 2008 last April after much research, primarily on this board about the SMOD.

I upgraded from a 2003 Mitsubishi Montero which was a great 4WD, but less towing capacity and not the reliability of my previous tow vehicle, a 1995 Nissan Quest.

I selected my Pathy based on the Carfax which showed a radiator and transmission replacement 10000 miles before I bought it. A real bonus for me because I do a lot of towing my 3000lb popup all over the western US and SMOD aside it is great to have the fresh pulling gear.

Since I have owned my Pathy I have put 11000 trouble free miles and it tows like a dream, especially thru the mountains. I have used this board to help solve a sprung fuel filler door, and a leaking ww reservoir. In addition I plan on doing the lift gate and rear window gas shock upgrade to the McMaster-Carr shocks.

This is a great resource, Thanks all for the help!
