Are you sure that your conversion calculations are on the money? Those numbers are extremely high-probably the highest I have seen posted from any of the Pathfinder sites-US, Australia, Germany, etc.

Thanks for the link. I plugged in the 9.4l/100km you gave and came up with 30.05mpg. I then plugged in 30.05mpg and came up with 7.83l/100km.

Then I went to this site:

I plugged in 9.4l/100km and came up with 25.02mpg. Did the same thing again, but plugged in 25.02mpg and came up with 9.4l/100km.

That first link you gave seems a bit flawed. I tried another site and plugged in the numbers:

These reflected the same 9.4l/100km=25.02mpg I found in the second link. It did list 30.05mpg, but that's for Imperial mpg.

From what I have seen posted here and elsewhere, the trip/odometer/mpg readings are not 100% accurate because of tire sizes, so that may be an additional helping factor. I by no means intend to be a pain about this, only that my curiosity arose because of the mega mileage claims that are far over even the EPA estimates. Trust me, I'm all ears when it comes to improving mpg!

I couldn't tell you how many times I plugged in numbers & SWEAR I chose the US measure, but obviously not. So now I'm banging my head against the wall. I still don't understand how, as all of your modifications/improvements/removals should not have caused that much of a jump in mileage. I posted in another thread that the best mileage I've had so far, 20.5 mpg, happened while driving about 85mph, a couple hundred pounds of gear in the back, and 2 16' kayaks on the upper rack. Conspiracy?

There were a couple of other posts here from members who had upsized their tires, only to find that the speedo & odometer were then accurate. From what was posted, their stock tires weren't accurate with the odometer. Did you ever have a chance to verify the accuracy of the stock readings? I'm just really curious, as I've heard of the discrepancy from a few different people now.
