Greetings all
Happy holidays from new york city. Finally got my account activated (thanks again!!!)

Been readin through the forum since my brother in law filled me in a few weeks ago.

A lil 411 on my truck. I have had my pathfinder for 3 weeks now and Im in love with it. I recently purchased a 2008 SE-V8 in storm grey, leather package (graphite), premium package, and additional airbags. 3000 bucks below invoice..i couldn't say no...

No mods, only addition was putting on the 3M "clear bra" to protect the front end of the car. Lookin into remote start, but thats about it for now.

1000 miles in and the only issue i have is with sticky brakes under wet conditions. (i.e stopped at a red light, release the brake pedal and you hear a "clunk" from the rear brakes) its been raining the last few days and it hasn't happened.... hopefully it was just one of those things...

Will try to post some pics soon..

Welcome to the site. I wish you luck with your new truck. We have had ours for 3 years come January and haven't had any real problems. I've heard that other with the V8 get only 1 mpg less than the V6. They really worked that engine out well. Sounds like you got one hell of a deal too.

gas mileage was what I had expected. I've driven about 1100 miles thus far since getting the car. Been averaging about 13.5 roughly per gallon.
gas mileage isn't too far off from that of the V-6... which basically made my purchase decision alot easier...
supposed to get snow this weekend...its a nice upgrade from driving a honda accord...

Hmm, seems to be more of a gap between the v8 and 6 than I thought. I just hit 10,000 miles on mine, and my average mpg is 17.5. And that's at altitude +. As powerful as the V6 is, I could easily imagine it would be heaven driving around in a V8.

Welcome to the forum & great choice of vehicle, btw!

1200 miles in.. and the bulk of my driving is locally. I guess that explains why the # seems a bit on the low side... i'm sure if im driving all highway... i can probably get about 15 and change....
no snow today.. was lookin forward to driving over some snow drifts...
