Newbie from NY in a 2005 Pathfinder

Postby nutbar78 » Wed Sep 07, 2011 5:28 am

Hey everybody, I just replaced my tried and true 2001.5 VW Passat with a 2005 Pathfinder. Our family is expanding and we could certainly use the room, plus I've always liked these Pathfinders. So when I saw this 2005 Desert Tan SE with 60k on the clock I had to jump on it. So far loving this truck and getting used to the MPG's. This appears to be a pretty active forum so I'm hoping to get some good information and advice. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum. I would look into the radiator bypass as one of the first modifications you do.

Thanks very much. I am going to call them and find out if my truck has had all the recalls performed and I will probably perform the radiator bypass to be safe.

I would do it right away. Not worth the risk.
