New Guy, Old Truck

Just purchased a 1998 Pathfinder SE. 100K miles, runs well, needs some work. As with all my vehicles, I try to find a helpful forum. I think I found it.

I have a 2002 Mazda B3000 Dual Sport and a 2007 Lincoln MKz as well.

The garage also has a 1976 Honda CB360t and a 1991 Honda Nighthawk 750.

A lot of wheels around.

My Pathfinder does need a little love to get it reliable and whole. It was a one owner vehicle and I got it for a song. Since it is at 100K miles, before doing anything else, a new cam belt, waterpump, idler pulley on on the must do first list.
In addition, the exhaust system (center Muffler) is need of replacement. The tail pipe is relatively new, so at least the system doesn't need a complete change. I always do a complete fluid change when buying a used vehicle, so axle, trans, transfer, all get fresh oil.
finally, I need to inspect the trailing arms. I see they can be troublesome. RockAuto has them at about $50 each, so I may go ahead and just replace all 4.

the Pathfinder does have a sunroof, Bose sound system, cruise, etc...pretty well optioned. Running boards are rusted in half, so they got to go, but the rest isn't too bad.

Seems like an otherwise solid vehicle. Looking forward to driving it.
