New owner in Bellevue, Nebraska

Postby lynmup » Fri Jan 25, 2013 10:51 pm

Hello everyone! I bought my Pathfinder about 2 months ago after my other car broke another gear in the transmission. Very please ever since purchasing. So far I have added the following to my '08 SE 4.0L 2wd Pathfinder;

CAI,
TB Spacer,
TB cooland bypass,
Ported intake manifold.

Gained over 1 mpg and much more torque. Still wanting to do headers, exhaust and somehow tune it to get more power and economy. I haven't installed the CAI yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

Loving that 3rd row seat!

I added the Volant and am enjoying the extra torque and gas mileage. Not to happy about that 1,500 - 2,000 RPM whistle I am hearing. Any fix for that?

I finally ditched the Volant and added a Spectre drop in filter. Went from 17.8 average to 17.4 average. Worth the loss considering I only spent $27 on the spectre. And no whistle. I'll eventually do the airbox mod but only when I can route the air from the opening next to the radiator to the airbox.

Nice looking ride. Sucks about the CAI and the noise.

We have now relocated to Nebraska. I'll let you know how the 2wd does in the snow.
