Hey guys and gals, my name is Kevin and am new to this community. I am in the process of shopping for a 10-12 pathfinder hopefully a V8 if I can find one.

Looks like there is a ton of info on here and plan to read through it all. And ask some questions too!!

Welcome. Hope you find that V8 pathfinder. I love mine. If I saw your signature, it looks like you are in BC. With that you might have to import one from the US. Good luck in your search and let us know what you buy.

For some reason, V8's where never available new, in Canada. The only ones around are USA lease returns that where imported by some dealers and brokers. Eagle Ridge Chrysler (Port Moody) was bringing in dozens of USA Pathfinders, you may want to try them and Morrey Nissan in Coquitlam or Burnaby. They might be able to source one for you.

I have the V6 and there is lots of power. That being said, I have never driven a V8 and would love to give it a go.

in 08, V8s were sold in Canada. And that was it.

I have seen a few in Alberta, but the v8s are really rare elsewhere.

we test drove one in 08. It was over $55k + taxes. But wow did it move.

Instead we bought our 05 with 95k kms on it. $19k. A little more my speed... lol

Oly,

Come on down to the US and I'll meet up with you in Spokane Washington and let you drive my 08 V8. Love it.

Hmm, next time I go to the Kootenays, I just may take you up on your offer. Castlegar is only about three hours away from Spokane. Would be great to meet and drive a V8. :) Looking at sometime in July.
