Where is the Voltage Regulator located on an 88 Pathfinder?

If i remember correctly, it's part of the alternator, i would ask at parts store, but i think this is correct, sorry to lazy to check chiltons manual, or haynes

It's listed as separate on an 88 on a parts website I just checked. Back then it may have still been separate. Definitely get a manual (haynes or chiltons).
