under normal driving, you can easily get 18-20mpg

city driving and leadfoot syndrome, you can easily drop that to 12.

No reason to use 91 unless you just like paying more for higher grade gas. That'll save you some $$. I have put over 50,000 on my 05 Pathfinder since I bought it and I have averaged 18-19 mpg overall. I keep it under 75 and go easy on the accelerator.

I average 17 City and 23 Hwy but I also have the V12 VOLO Performance Chip. But I agree with Terry and most everyone else that Mr. Leadfoot demands its pound of flesh and you can easily drop to 13 - 14 mpg's.

Check out my thread on the VOLO

Yeah that VOLO chip is on the list  I just shelled out $700 on cross bars, cargo box, and hitch bike rack

I'm at 14.5 right now with the new Volo12 chip driving around town. It was worse! So I'm hoping that it'll continue to get a little better. :)

I use Castrol Synthetic oil with the Lucas Oil additive. I only use 89 octane and as long as I drive conservatively I get 19.1 mpg and have seen 20.0 mpg all around town.

I recently just averaged 21 mpg on a 800 mile road trip. All highway miles at 72-75 mph. Can't complain about these numbers. :D

on 87 or 89 octane swill, i averaged about 15mpg on my 10 mile per day round trip to and from work. that sucked. now i drive 3 blocks to drop the kiddos at day care, drive back home, and jump on the old-ass suzuki to go to work. 52 mpg, and 8 bucks fills the tank.
