2008 Pathfinder with issues

Postby Marchella Graham » Sat Oct 06, 2012 3:30 am

Last month I bought a 2008 Pathfinder ST-L and it has started stalling with no reason and the local dealers have so far charged me $600 and they still don't know what's causing it. I thought you guys on here may be able to help. They car starts no problem but then just stops. It usually doesn't about every couple of weeks with no real reason as to why. Different circumstances each time. The dealer say that the computer isn't showing an error code so they don't know what it is. Please help as its still I see warranty and I want to get it fixed before I have to pay for it.

I also have a really bad vibration that has started straight under the steering wheel and its gradually getting worse, the (the dealer) says it needs new clutch pipes, does this sound right????

Please help!!!! I'm ready to tear my hair out.

Tell your dealer to do the IPDM relay recall for the stalling.

As for the vibration, it is most likely a seized u-joint, and they should be able to figure that out.

They sound pretty incompetent. Are they a nissan dealer?
