2001 Pathfinder Sagging rear suspension (Help...)

Postby iceknauss » Tue Oct 08, 2013 8:28 pm

I just bought a 2001 pathfinder LE from a friend to use as a backup vehicle. i noticed that the rear sits noticably lower than the front (with no load in it). The rear coil springs are not cracked or broken. Is it just worn out rear shocks?? i'm looking for a easy fix without installing airbags.

More likely worn rear springs...shocks don't affect the ride height of the vehicle when they go bad; the are used to dampen the affect of bumps. It is the springs that set the ride height.
