Bluetooth connectivity issues with LG GR500 BOSE w/o NAV

I have the BOSE Premium Journey Package w/o NAV system and it supports Bluetooth - well sorta. I am able to sync my iPhone and an older Blackjack without issue. With both of these phones I can make and receive calls handsfree without issue. When I try to use the LG GR500, I can make handsfree calls just fine but when I use it to accept incoming calls, the BOSE system goes handsfree for about 3 seconds then sends the call back to the phone thereby disconnecting the handsfree option.
Has anyone else experienced this failure with this or any other phone? If so, did you find a fix?
