by passing stock amp...?

so ive contacted a few car audio places to find out how to accomplish such a task, and the only answer they give me is "its about 65 for us to do that for you" and they wont tell me where i can turn for info, or where to turn for help, any of yall got an idea?

What kind of sound system did you get? I don't have the Bose, but if it's like what was in my 300ZX then it has line-level coming out of the head unit and individual tuned amps attached to each speaker. Makes it a *#$*@ PITA to upgrade, you pretty much have to gut the thing and start over, including the wiring.
