I have a '06 NON-Bose and right now am running a Kenwood Sirius unit hooked to the stock head unit though the antenna adapter.

Needless to say, it sounds pretty bad.

I would like to upgrade the head unit to something that pulls in the sirius directly, then upgrade the speakers a bit.

BUT is the Sirius the week link sound quality wise? I'm pretty much set on staying with sat. radio, but would like to make it sound as good as is possible w/in its limitations.

I have an '06 non-Bose with the factory Sirius unit. All the Sirius channels I listen to sound good -- sounds just like a real CD. FWIW, I'm not an audiophile. I cannot tell the difference between 192+kbps MP3 and real CD audio.

I just picked up a ne Rogue w/ Bose/XM Radio yesterday for my wife -- sound quality knocks the socks off of what I have in my Pathfinder. Operation "Better Audio" is about to go into full swing (as soon as a recover from writing that big check yesterday!!)

Finally got off my a$$ and got a new head unit -- did an Eclipse w/ Navi. and Sirius. MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better sound then I had before. The Sirius sounds nice and clear.

I have an 04 Pathfinder LE Platinum Edition with the factory Nissan Sirius tuner (Model EN-1186E), and I have a Kenwood DDX7015 head unit that I installed.

My question is, how do I get this wired to get satellite radio? On the back of the Kenwood head unit, there's a direct connection for a SAT tuner (blue circle), but the wiring is completely different (white square connectors), cause it's meant for the stock unit.

Any ideas?
