Has anyone here ever replaced the factory nav?? help

Postby BUFFALO PATHFINDER » Sat Jan 22, 2011 4:18 am

i just bought a 2005 pathfinder le that has factory navigation and a bose stereo with no rear entertainment. i really want to change it out for a aftermarket with dvd, navigation, bluetooth, backup camera and the ability to run a dual headrest dvd system on it or over head unit (i have a sunroof so i am not sure if i can do it) the problems i am seeing is:

my ac is controls show up on my nav screen

there will be a few blank spots that will drive me crazy (spot were the 6 disc changer is and the area that controls my radio & nav currently)

so this is what makes sense to me it looks like i would have to go to a junkyard and buy a complete center dash from a pathfinder with out navigation or a six disc changer and change over the ac system to that one with a led screen over the controls but i don't know if there are hole for the rear ac controls so i am a bit lost starring to wonder if its worth all the trouble.
