July 4th Fireworks

Postby RacerZX » Wed Jul 05, 2006 9:36 am

Shot these last night out beyond Shoreline Amphitheatre here in the SF Bay Area with my Nikon D70s, aperture at F11, ISO at 200, with various different shutter speeds (from a couple seconds to 30).

They would be hard to get with a simple point-and-shoot camera, you really need full manual control and a tripod and a bunch of luck. The Nikon D70s is a digital SLR, so it has all the manual control of a traditional 35mm film SLR.
