Off-road 08 4x4 se ??

Postby Likethemwild » Tue Mar 24, 2015 12:50 pm

I recently purchased 08 se 4x4 with off-road package. And am looking into lifting it. I know it has the upgraded blisten shocks and skid plates. Not sure what else OR package adds. But trying find out what is best options that don't break the bank. I don't plan on doing any major rock climbing as I live on small island but would like the confront to know I can if need be, for those harder to reach remote beaches of hawaii

Do I just need add just blocks? Springs or completely replace shocks also ??

This is a good place to start:

Then here:

And maybe here: http://www.4x4parts.com/

And if you want to get a little deeper into your pockets: http://www.prgproducts.com/

Keep in mind, the Pathfinder/Frontier/Xterra all have the same front suspension, so anything that fits on them, fits on the Pathy.

Calmini is pricey and takes forever and a day to ship. I ordered mine at the end of July and it showed up early January so if you have any intentions on getting the Calmini, might as well order it now. I believe you do not have to pay the entire amount up front so that’s fairly easier to digest.
