Newbie needing lift advice

I just got a great deal on a lightly used set of 285/70/R17 tires for my 2006 LE 4WD Pathfinder (all stock). I'm going to need to have her lifted but I can't find any shops in my area who have ever lifted a Pathfinder or can even get parts/kit to lift it. They've all told me if I'll by the kit and the parts, they'll be happy to do the labor.

The only problem is...I'm a complete rookie on suspension stuff and have no idea where to begin. A few questions:

Anyone else running this size tire on an R51?
How much should I lift to accommodate these tires?
Any suggestions on kit, etc. that I should purchase?

Any pointers/tips are appreciated. Thanks!
