4" lift

Postby BCpathy » Fri Jun 17, 2016 10:19 am

So the time has finally come. My shocks are about done. I waited for this moment. Now it's time for a lift. The whole suspension is stock. As all of you know, this can be a rocky ride on the dirt roads.

I'd like at least 3" front and back. 4 would be better. Would like to smooth out the ride quality in the same time.

A lot of you guys have done their lifts. Please help me out with info and suggestions for the task ahead.
how much lift do you have. And what parts have you used.

Thanks

There are a number of threads on R51 lifts on this forum. It seems one of the biggest issues with lifting is the independent rear suspension design and being able to keep the alignment within specs. It's a little easier on Frontiers and Xterras that use a straight axle setup. 4x4parts.com would be a good place to look at some lift options.

4x4parts.com has a body lift that is 3" and will not change your suspension.
