no 265 would be perfect with this lift, the tire you currently see in this thread is a smaller tire, i have since then gone with a bigger set of tires, 265/75R16 to be exact, also as for the camber kit you will need it installed so they can correctly do your alignment.

I'm looking into the Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts for my 05 Pathfinder.

It is a daily driver so I was curious how the ride was?

I was wondering if a 1" inch lift spring in the rear would make the vehicle sit more level or if the rear end would sag. It's hard to tell looking at the photo's of the gray Pathfinder but it looks like it has a little nose squat. Is it just the angle?

If your gonna go with these shocks lifting it to the max will give you a stiffer ride than normal, but I like it, because now it does not dip as bad when you go into a ditch or something, and it feels like an actual suv, as for the rear, the rear springs from AC is perfect.

I would not buy the kit you have the link to, you can find it cheaper if you buy em seperately from different vendors.

What gray pathfinder? as far as I know when my pathy was stock it was the front that was lower than the rear, but yours maybe different. Not sure if they make 1 leaf springs.

Got the goods today. Bilstein 5100 for up front and OME 1" lift springs for the rear matched up with some OME shocks. Like "xd9-g19" said even the 1" rear springs look massive like they give 3 or 4 inches of lift. I guess you just have to have faith. I'm going to install the rear first and then pick the best level to set the front at. Pics to follow soon.

Quick question for those who have replaced your rear springs. (w/lift springs)

Did you need a coil spring compressor to install the new rear lift springs or were you able to get the spring in by unbolting the LCA from the Knuckle?

Shopping around, it actually looks like the 2" "Kit" from AC isn't a bad price - $440 for the 5100s for the front, 2" coils AND HD shocks for the rear. Think I may throw some tax refund cash in this direction.

This will be a "front yard" install...any tips/tricks for the installation?? Does the 2008 pathy need the lower a-arm camber kit as well for alignment??

I'm not sure if you'll need the heavy duty spring compressor with the Bilsteins as you would be re-using your front factory springs. I think it was the new beefier OME front replacement coils that required that.
