Fuel Filter Location?

I got a tankfull of free gas. I got 13mpg down from 17 average. Now, my mpg stays at 13mpg even though I ran 2 tanks of Premium through it after that.

I'm wondering if the fuel filter might have picked up crud from the free gas.

I don't see any pics or a location of the fuel filter, all I see are diesel filters.

it's part of the fuel pump assy, inside the fuel tank
