hey guys,

pardon my ignorance on this one but i need to know for sure so ill ask. when i first got the car i noticed there was only on dipstick. i assumed it was for the engine oil. and i assumed the gauge on the dashboard is for the transmission. am i right or am i missing a second dip stick for the transmission?

There is a dipstick for the transmission it is located near the back of the engine on the passenger side. It it not obvious at first and is bolted down. The pressure gage on the dash is for oil pressure.

the proper procedure for checking the transmission fluid level is on page MA-22 in the Service Manual
