Plenum

Hopefully this will be my last question for a little while. While reinstalling the plenum, I noticed a valve/nipple on the back of it. I don't remember a hose attaching to it. I changed the pcv hose going from the side to the valve cover, but cant figure out the one on the back. Does something attach to it?
