I finally had a chance to do an extended mpg trip check of about 265 miles driving at between 100 kms/h and 105 kms/h or about 62 - 65 mph.
The result with these new 235/85R16 tires showed from a tank refill calculation to be 11.88 L/100 kms or about 19.79 miles/US gallon.
