oil pressure Guage. .

Postby kingfisher73 » Sat Sep 05, 2015 6:40 pm

Hi all.
I recently bought an 05 SE 4x4..and love this thing..
one thing I've noticed is the oil pressure Guage reads the highest it can be..
is this correct..do most read that high..
is there anything I should be watching out for..or is this an indicator of anything..
I have 223000 kms..or approx 135000 miles..

This is a fairly common problem that occurs when the oil pressure sending sensor (sending unit) fails. Replace the oil pressure sensor and it should fix it. There have been some problems with some aftermarket units, so I would highly recommend you get a genuine Nissan part.
