Exhaust question & pictures of AV install

Postby DJLittleWonder » Mon Mar 09, 2009 8:55 pm

Does anyone know if the exhaust (muffler) is the same for the V8 & V6? I want to remove the Y-pipe and replace the muffler with a Flowmaster 50 Series HD. Any thoughts?

Here are pictures of the AV install (prior post http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=1658)

Installing the bypass was pretty simple. Behind and on top of the screen has the harness which plugs into the nav bypass. You unplug the oem harness, plug it into the bypass and then plug the other bypass harness into the screen. The bypass unit has a prewired switch, power, ground, hand brake (negative), and backup camera (negative) cables. The ground, hand brake, and backup camera have to be grounded before video one can be displayed. The unit has two inputs, input two is for a backup camera. Input one is used for your video source. I mounted my switch in the covered pocket next to the gear shifter. Hope that helps.
