$2300 Service Bill on my 2005 Pathfinder

Postby LILMONEYMAN23 » Tue Jan 15, 2008 12:05 pm

I have a 2005 Pathfinder that started acting up this week. I brought it to the Darcar Nissan Of Rockville where I bought it From in December 2004. They told me the following had to be replaced:

Front Driveshaft $1200
Power Steering pump $1000
Transmission Flush
In Cabin microfilter

I service my Truck every 3000 miles so I am a little puzzled.

That's one expensive driveshaft! Since you are quoting prices, I assume you are no longer covered under warranty? If not, I'd call around on the driveshaft.

Please tell me your truck is 4WD!?!?! If not, you may want to have a word with the service manager (and Dateline NBC).

All kidding aside, I'm really interested in what you may have done to cause this.

just outta curiosity, do you have two pathfinders?

you list a 2007 in your signature and problem w/ your engine and now a 2005 for this thread.

did i read something wrong or do you have problems w/ both?
