Pathfinder P0455 Code

I have a 2006 pathfinder that is also throwing the p0455 code. For at lease 6 months it has not affected drivability, however, in the last 2 weeks the car has started to stall out on me. It goes dead to where it idols very low and just kind of putters but wont go anywhere. Pushing on the gas, shifting into gear, nothing works. If i turn the key off and try to restart, it usually takes a few times but finally starts. Any thoughts?? Im guessing the valve on the top of the canister may be stuck or bad. I have also never replaced the gas cap but from everything i have read this would not cause the car to stall out. Just looking for input before i take the valve out to clean and test it. Thanks

Had the same code and after reading all the threads took the spare down and dropped the canister down. Pain the @ss to get the valve off the canister. FInally twisted it off and cleaned it out good. pain in the @ss to realogn all the wings on the valve but finally got it back in and reconnected all the hoses. Havent seen the SES light in a month!

no never had the car stall out. seems like it may be a separate issue

Ive had the code for over a year with no issues. I wouldnt suspect the two are related.

I checked again today still just the 1 code. I did have someone tell me it may be the throttle body causing it to stall like it is. Does anyone else have a suggestion before i take it apart?

Hey folks I got the same error
it was qualified as the Evaporator Emissions Gross Leak
I got the vent Control Valve from Nissan (My truck is Pathfinder SE 2005 4x4)
I have purchase the the Vent Control Valve
I dropped the rear tire and removed the fender well (rear driver Side) protection
I wanted to just drop the entire canister to remove the Vent control valve but had trouble getting the electrical connectors loose
I also has some trouble removing the hoses
since these things have been connected for the past 7 years I want to know if there was any tricks that could be used to help me remove the hoses without damaging them and how the heck do the electrical connectors come loose
