confirmed bad timing chain shoes/ issue

confirmed at the dealer $1,200 to fix...2005 with 76000mi.....this should not happen at all...not sure what to do

Good Luck! I had the same issue but it was covered under warranty. 40k miles later and I think I may be having the same problem again. I would like to know if Nissan has fixed this obvious defect in the timing chain shoe/tensioner design or manufacturing process or if they continue to produce this inferior part.
