Radiator Problem in 2011?

I'm looking at a new 2011 left over and was wondering what year (if any) was the readiator/transmission problem resolved and how?

I'm not aware of the later models having the radiator/transmission cooler problems but they haven't been around as long. I guess only time will really tell. The good part about an 11 model is that you have the full factory warranty should there be any problems. But i'd just do the bypass and be safe. There are several threads about doing the bypass if you want more details.

got a 2008 with 125 on the clock, no bypass and issues with the tranny. hoping it stays that way.

The new radiators have been updated to prevent the cracked cooler bracket issue. The extended warranty covers 05-10 models, but I have yet to hear of anyone experience the problem on models after 2006.

The radiator/cooler starting in 2008 are different. I'm not sure the exact differences besides the mounting and locations of cooler and lines are different than pre-2008. I haven't by-passed because it's not as easy and is under warranty. I can see them voiding the warranty because of the bypass.

I recently met a guy at the service centre with a 2007 model. It has over 325k kilometers with no problmes at all..The only thing that went wrong was apparently the rear winshield washer stopped working.
