2008 V8 Pathfinder: Do I need to do the transmission Bypass?

Postby domestique » Fri May 25, 2012 11:11 am

Hi Everyone!

I am going to be buying a 2008 V8 LE on Monday with 42,000 miles on it.

Besides doing the obvious ATF check (always hated strawberry milkshakes anyways)......

Do I need to do the transmission bypass? From reading a bunch of threads the last couple weeks it looks like a lot of guys with the V8 are NOT doing the bypass.

Any V8 owners with advice?

Thanks again guys, I love this forum and will be posting pics as soon as the truck is in my drive way!

Still unproven. I have an 08 V8 and have 43k miles. No by pass yet however I we have not seen a V8 pathfinder that had a problem.
