ATF

Postby dawgn86 » Sat Jun 23, 2012 4:50 pm

I know this subject can be a touchy one for some folks...Im going to do a drain and refill on my ATF in my 06 Pathfinder..101k miles.

I dont mind getting the Nissan ATF fluild, but is the Valvoline Maxlife ATF just as good?

Anyone have any bad experiences with the Valvoline?

I used Valvoline for my last ATF change. No problems so far. Valvoline claims it can be used where Matic-J and Matic-J are required.

I've been using Valvoline Maxlife ATF in my 2006 LE and 2008 SE for about a year now, and also in an 08 Mazda 6 that specs Mazda "V" ("MV") ATF. All are doing fine!

I've got 28k on BG trans fluid. Getting ready to drain/fill w/Maxlife.
