fuel gauge and dte stopped working

Both stopped working this AM and now have a service engine light on. Whats tge verdict before i take it to mechanic on thursday

depending on your year and mileage, you may be covered by Nissans' extended warranty on the fuel level sending unit, if that is your problem

mine broke too, Nissan fixed it at 65k

Stealership says under warranty thank god. Better be whats wrong. Fuel gauge still reads. 1/4 tank after fill up, dte has lines through it like -----. Just started doing this on last fill up last sunday and after filling up today dte had lines through it and ses light popped on

Same symptoms mine had when the fuel level sensor went out. You should be covered under the extended warranty. If not, it's about $100 in parts if you replace it yourself or $400 if the dealer replaces it.

Thanks for the quick replies. Yup under warranty. Any idea how long this repair takes? Hoping to have car back in a day

That shouldn't be a problem. It took me 2-3 hours to replace mine in my driveway.
