About to hit 80k, how to check tranny?

I checked the dipstick, ATF looks clear. Any other way to ensure my rad/cooler is not compromised on my '07?

I got the fittings and am set to do the bypass tonight.

Take a look at the coolant too. Mine is still all looking good also approaching 80k. My guess is that time is more harsh on these than miles....so when the did '05 models start to crap out from a time standpoint? I'll do the bypass once I get past the warranty....
