RPM's

Thought I'd start a thread to see what everyone's RPM's are doing when they are highway cruising or driving around town. Mine are running anywhere from about 1200 to 1500 rpms city driving from about 35 to 50 mph and at about 2100 rpms at about 65 to 70 mph highway speeds. I don't often do 55 mph but those rpm's are about 1750.

2200-2300 at about 75-80mph on the highway. I haven't paid attention to city driving as our streets are posted from 15mph to 50mph, so nothing is ever really constant.

I think I am right around 2100-2200 at 70mph. But on another note what does everyones rpm's shoot up to when they start there truck. I find it odd and it kind of concerns me that mine shoots up to roughly 2250 rpm's when I first start the truck, but the truck runs great and idles fine. I would think its the fuel pump pushings it like that but any feedback on this would be great

I am right around the 2200 range when cruising the highway, and around 1500 when in the city.

This one does the same, at start it hangs at about 2200 rpm for about 2 seconds then drops back to 1500 while still cold. Idle rpm in park is about 650 when the engine is at operating temp.
