Sound clip of b-pipes and 18" magnaflow. (VK56)

Postby NmexMAX » Wed Nov 07, 2012 7:42 am

Just thought I'd share a sound clip of my latest set-up.

I went with this set-up for sound, not power really, since IMO both the V6 & V8 are adequately powered for the purpose and intent of the Pathfinder.

This is with the Cajun B-pipes. (Purchased from KnightOwl on TitanTalk forums). and a Magnaflow PN 12558 (18" body).

What did this setup run you? Also is there any kind of annoying drone at certian speeds? I know with some systems there have been.

Let's see, 150$ for the b-pipes and $120 for the muffler and $100 for the install of the muffler.

The b-pipes are bolt on, so I installed those myself, muffler needed to be cut and welded so I let a shop do that.

There's no drone, I'm pretty sure the guys that have drone are the per 07 Titan guys since the exhaust set-up is quite different.

And the post 07 guys only get drone when they add headers with the entire mix.

Longer video please?!? I also have an Audi RS4 with a Magnaflow exhaust that sounds pretty amazing, as such I really miss a good V8 sound when driving my Pathfinder. At this cheap it's almost a no brainer.

Any chance you'd post up a longer clip from in cabin?

Do you know what model you're going to get? I still think the single 2.5" in, dual 2.25" out is the best, and has been proven numerous times in the titan forums.

Sorry for the dumb question but what exactly is/are B-pipe(s)?

I'm familiar with the term head pipe or front pipe to identify the portion immediately after the header/manifold. Just curious which portion of the exhaust everyone is discussing here. Thanks in advance.

b pipes are the section of pipe between the muffler and the primary cats.
