Transfer Case fluid change?

What type of fluid and how much do I need to change the transfer case fluid on a 2011 Pathfinder?

Book calls for Nissan Matic D. A little over 2 quarts. I use Castrol Transmaxx for Imports which is Matic D equivalent. I only use the Nissan fluid in the transmission but I don't mind the aftermarket stuff in the transfercase.

If you have the regular transfer case, it's 2-1/8 quarts, but if you have the "Auto mode" transfer case, it's 3-1/8 quarts. I use Valvoline Maxlife ATF in mine, same as I use for the auto transmission.
