found this under my dashboard. I bought the car used and have no idea what this is or was used for. Kill switch? Remote Start? Any help greatly appreciated!

Looks like a kill switch. You usually would want to hide it a little better than that but I guess it's better than nothing.

I have a remote starter on my pathy, and it has a kill switch identical to your picture. Mine is mounted to the left side under the dash.
