New car amplifier location ?

After looking at the pictures of where the subs are in the back drivers side left hatch area it looks to me if you don't have the Bose system there would be enough room in that area to put a small power amp in that location would I be correct? My Pathy is a 2012 base (S) model and I'm thinking about moving my small Alpine power amp behind that location if it would fit?
