Battery Disconnect - Will it Reset Anything???

Postby jhg120 » Sun Jan 03, 2016 8:13 pm

Hi,
I'm about to install a new head unit and back up camera. I used a BullyDog to adjust my idle, but do not have the BullyDog, it was a friend's.

So, since I have to disconnect negative terminal to install new head unit, will it reset the adjustment I made to the idle???

Thanks all.

Disconnecting the battery won't do anything to the programmable parameters you chanced with the bully dog.

Make sure you have the security code for the radio though.

Excellent, thank you.

But security code, I just have the standard, non Bose single CD player. Replacing with a Pioneer. What would this code be?
