Display Screen malfunction (snowy display)

Hi all,

I'd like to be able to fix this problem by myself and I figure likely it is just a loose connection but I do not know where to start looking. The Pathfinder has a display screen and recently it has just shown a snowy line moving up and down the screen with the rest being black or dark grey.

Any help would be appreciated thanks alot!
