New speakers for my 08' Pathfinder SE

Postby TAYLORMAID_32 » Thu Mar 21, 2013 11:54 am

Just bought 2 Infinity 6x9", 300-Watt High performance 3-way loudspeakers for my front door panels and 2 Infinity 6.5", Shallow Mount High Performance 180-Watt Two-Way Loudspeakers for my rear door panels. Does anybody know if my Bose amplifier will get the job done or am I going to have to upgrade the amp as well? Any or all comments are greatly appreciated...

I don't think so. Check the impedance rating of the Bose door speakers. If they are 1-ohm impedance speakers, the answer is "no." If they are 4-ohm impedance, you should be okay. I know for sure the subwoofer speakers are 1-ohm impedance. I know to use an aftermarket deck on a Bose system you need a converter for the amps. The friendly folks at Crutchfield.com should be able to answer your questions.
