Horn Chirp

Postby FLpathFinder » Tue May 21, 2013 12:34 pm

I figured my PF not having a horn chirp was just the way it came, but I just read in another post it has a setting. Well my setting says its on, but when I lock it with the remote no chirp?

maybe try turning it off, start car, stop car, lock doors, then turn back on and repeat?

i'm an IT guy and sometimes computers just need to be 'reset' :)

I had the same issue when I got mine. You hold both buttons on the remote until the horn sounds to engage/disengage the chirp. The on-screen menu setting doesn't really do anything -- not sure why it's there. :)

I'm the opposite - I hate having any car chirp or honk when locked - I can hear the doors lock and don't need to advertise my arrival/leaving my car.
