2007 - How to get Aux input on stock stereo?

Postby Jakobud » Fri Jun 14, 2013 12:48 pm

I have a 2007 pathfinder, stereo looks like this:

What is the best way to get Aux input on this thing? After researching, it appears the best way USED to be the PAC Audio AAI-NIS2. But it appears to be discontinued everywhere I look.

What is the most modern alternative? I've also found this:

It says it will work if your stereo has a BAND button, which mine does.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I have an aftermarket cd player that has the AUX input. You can probably find one for around $100 at Best Buy or some store like that and get cheap installation if you don't want to put it in yourself. That is probably the easiest solution.

My goal is to maintain the stock stereo. I know that all aftermarket stereos have aux input already.

Not sure if they have the exact thing you are looking for, but I've used this brand before in my old 2004 Mazda 6.

Hope that helps.
