Heated side view mirrors

Postby Goliat6288 » Sat Mar 08, 2014 4:45 pm

hello everyone

im new to the forum. ive ad my pathfinder for about a year now. i have a 2007 pathfinder. it has no badge so im guessing its an LE. i noticed i dont have seat or side view mirrors. i dont care much about the seat but the mirrors i do want heated. ive looked up the mirrors on rockauto and i only see offroad package and non-heated. are the off road package ones heated? if they are is it just a plug and play kind of thing or is more involved to get them to work?

thanks in advanced.

It sounds like you don't have an LE. An easy way to tell is by the transfer case; if you have an "AUTO" option on the transfer case selector knob, then you have an LE as it was the only model that had it. LE's also came standard with heated leather seats, heated mirrors, simulated wood plastic trim and Bose audio.

Hate to hijack the thread but the wife recently demolished our passenger side view mirror.

We have an LE with heated mirrors. I can get a used one on ebay which matches our paint, it is just not heated and off an SE. Does anyone know if it will fit? I honestly don't care about the heated function.

ok its definitely not an LE. Cloth interior, nothing is heated, no wood trim , no bose and no auto on the nob, only 4lo and 4hi and 2x4. so would mine be an SE?

FWIW, sunroof and bose were optional on the SE starting in '08. I believe those features were only available on the LE for the '05-'07 models.

Models run "S", "SE", "SE Offroad" and "LE" for 2007 in order of features.

SE and LE typically have emblems on the back hatch.

S models typically do not have running boards, cross-bars on the roof rails, nor a fold-down armrest in the middle of the 2nd row.

yup the s sounds like mine. the only one that bugs me is the cross bars. that will be my next "upgrade" to my path

The SE-OR doesn't have the heated mirrors. Pretty sure I've looked at this for myself in the past, but found that it wouldn't work. Couldn't tell you why as it's been a few years. You would probably have to run all the wiring & most likely install a rocker switch to control them. If you go through with it, post up your findings.

Both were available on the 05. I actually looked around a bit to find my SE with leather seats, a regular stereo (wanted to replace it) and sunroof delete option (more headroom and better sound quality after I started insulating and damping everything).
