Remove LE wood door trim?

Postby kolbaso » Mon Mar 10, 2014 6:32 pm

Hey guys. New to the board and excited for my new ride. I know that some people have painted/wrapped the wood door pieces but I can't find any info on it. Yes I searched for it. All I can find are tutorials on how to remove the console wood trim. My question is simple:
Do the wood pieces just pull off or are they fasted from the back/not removable? Also I am hoping that I do not have to remove the door panel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the LE, they are actually plastic molded units to look like wood; it cannot be removed. You could get parts that do not look like wood from any non-LE trim R51.
